KEEP THE BLUE UNIFORMS

Let's save them for our next big game against an FCS school.

I'll bet your one of those guys they have to yell at to sit down.Constantly waving your Orange flags

Well, here's the dilemma. Aren't we trying to Orange Out the Dome? Now I'm thinking I should wear blue to show my Orange pride.

On tv It looked like we were trying tk silver ou the dome. Perhaps we should go with platinum uni's after all?

I hate the "monochromatic" look.

I can't imagine PSU, Notre Dame, or Michigan wearing all-blue at home, or Ohio State wearing all-scarlet.

Agreed. Stay with the great traditional look.

Not calling you out but is SU in any way like any of those programs? Just asking...The only comparison you could make is history and that is where it ends, and that ND is a private school.

None of those programs needs anything to change to re-invigorate the fanbase or gain a recruit's attention, SU does. From what I have heard on this board was that the players loved them so I am guessing recruits did as well.

I loved them but it really doesn't matter what I like, uniforms won't stop me from cheering for my team. What it might do though is get the attention of a recruit or a younger fan who thinks they are cool.

When nothing changes...guess what...nothing changes.

My 2 cents which I am sure is probably worth less.

We should maybe have helmets that mimic the aluminum look of the seats.:D

What we have in common with all those schools ... is an easily identifiable uniform.

An identity that gets lost when we succumb to the latest fad and become a "uniform of the week" school.

I picked PSU, Michigan, ND, and Ohio State because those schools have the most recognizable uniforms in the country. Maybe it's because their color schemes have remained unchanged for generations.

Syracuse has been known for orange helmets and pants for 60 years. It's one of the few traditions we have left. Let's not throw it away.

Yes please, the kids love them. Which translates into recruits loving them.

I really couldn't agree more with your post. I'm, for the most part, a traditionalist and love the traditional unis, except for the grey face masks. IMO, those particular should be worn the vast majority of the time, however, an alternate combo or two just keeps up with the status quo, and has its aforementioned advantages. I thought the unis SU wore on Saturday were very sharp...
