Our centers (including Baye) kept repeating the same problem over and over again last night. They were overplaying the entry passes into the post. The interior players for St. Francis were able to get around them because of the overplay and either draw a foul or score. Our centers never adjusted by moving their feet and bellying up to the player. It was tough to watch.

Baye played lazy, weak defense.

That's what I saw.

Cole I think was quoted as saying JB wanted him to front the 6 6 guy. I think cole and the other centers did try to belly up the smaller guys (from behind ) and they still got around them. Just slow footwork IMO...

Jack hill
Dudes a UConn fan... I can smell it.

People who bash Baye are :
1. UConn fans
2. Communists
3. Emo kids

Any way you slice it I want to punch these types of people in their manparts.

Okay Jack we get it, you would have liked to see DC2 get back in. But you are now looking back in hindsight and pretending it is a no-brainer screw-up out of JB. It wasn't.

At the time JB was going with the senior he trusts in a close game. He was putting in the player he thought from that point on would play the defense he wanted for the win.

Jack are you a Uconn fan?
No I am not and I agree Keita was the best center last yr. IMO we would not have made FF without him and his leadership. And I still think JB trusts him more than the other centers obviously. But I also think in a couple months cole will be our best option on offense of the 3 guys and his defense is progressing, if only slowly...love your t shirt btw. Cal is a clown...go SU!

And I didn't bash Keita,

we only closed the deficit after rak went in. But I have no preference over the 3 centers right now. Think they are pretty even over all and think yes Dajuans d is probably the worst of the 3. Just was surprised JB didn't put dajuan back in when we were really struggling to score it, the other two centers were also getting beat and we started to fall behind.

I do not follow the logic that makes me a girl.
If ever seen a guy punch another guy in the privates. But I think in self defense class they teach females to do that......?

Jack, I actually look forward to the time when JB trusts DC2 and puts him in late. If DC2 continues with this kind of play I think that time may occur ahead of schedule, like this year. I also hope JB is now considering the offense/defense option with DC2. It is becoming clearer and clearer that DC2 can help out this offense more than either of the other 2.

I would also like to see SU make a concerted effort to get him involved on offense early. Force the feeding of the post. DC2 played well yesterday but he was getting most of it through mop up. I think it would help the team if they tried to work it in to him early in the game.
