Kyle McCord to NFL Draft

In my humble opinion the things that NFL personnel will like about Kyle McCord is his football knowledge and ability to successfully play in two different offensive schemes. In addition his coaches telling them about his dedication to film study and his obvious leadership by example. I am willing to bet that Kyle McCord will over the next few months rise up the NFL Draft Boards and hopefully have a long NFL career. Kyle McCord, Forever Orange!!!!

He reminds me in many ways of Tom Brady.
Tom Brady was brilliant in understanding offense and reading other teams defenses.
Really did a lot of film and other study.
He was not very mobile and did not have a very strong arm.
And he was extremely accurate and knew how to place the ball where the receiver had the best chance to get it.
He knew how to win and could inspire those around him to be the best version of themselves.

Kyle is so similar it is almost spooky.
Tom was underrated in the draft and maybe doesnt even get his chance if the Patriots starter didnt go down with an injury.

I guess what I am saying is there is a definite place for Kyle in the NFL.
He just needs a little luck to get in the right place.
Personally, I would love the Dolphins to take him as I dont think TUA is the long term answer because of his concussion issues. They desperately need someone like Kyle as his backup.

I think these will be the things that will increase his draft status more than anything else.

You’re dead on here !!!

Backup You’re dead on here !!!
Completely agree. Was a pleasure to watch Kyle this year. Hope he has a Brady career. But I also think a lot of the success of both guys was the " system ".IMHO, I think with New England's system Bledsoe would have had the same success. The season Brady got hurt, If I remember correctly the backup ( Garoppalo SP ) came in and put up video game numbers. I think he got hurt and the 3rd stringer came in and also had good numbers. I think the system plays a big part.

So Brady was just a system QB? Sounds like a good hot take.

Well he won a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay too!

Stock in your eyes or stock in other peoples eyes? Just to play devils advocate, how many defenses did McCord face that were comparable to what Allar faced this year?

If McCord does truly have NFL starting potential he should be trucking these barely top 50 defenses we played and blowing up the stat sheets. Allar on the other hand is running offenses and having to make plays against top 10 defenses. That's what NFL scouts look at too.

As always I have to always say I agree McCord is a better QB than the rest of the hacks in this draft but people have to take off the orange colored glasses.
Not that I am disagreeing with you at all...but just to play devils advocate didn't #6 blow up the stat sheets?

It still comes down to value. if you have a QB as a 5th rd grade and the QBs ahead of him are gone do you jump him to 3rd rd because others are gone?
Depends on if the Giants want to draft a QB...
Hell they might take #6 over Ward...
I mean he did beat him.
