LeQuint Allen to NFL Draft

His ability to catch the ball will get him looks alone. I watch every single nfl game every week and half of these backs can’t catch a lob screen pass. Lequint was lined up in the slot sometimes this year and ran routes and caught it. That doesn’t happen often or ever with a RB

LQA is an SU legend. He was always very good from the moment we saw him in the Pinstripe Bowl 2 years ago. He was elite the second half of this season and the bowl game. Despite how incredible he was playing in November, we even started to see increasing snaps for Willis in the Miami game which he had that fumble, but suggests that Willis was gaining ground in practice. Mix in a healthy Nixon. I think we should be more than ok.
Man… this almost makes me tear up a little. Was at that game and forgot that was his first game starting. From that to the bogus suspension to where we were this year with a new coach, single handedly winning us some games such as UNLV and VT, and as others have said hurdling Miami to end it. What a 3 year career for LA. Will to succeed and refusal to be beat is something I saw out of Zaire Franklin and Mikel Jones, and now again with Lequint. Beasts

I love this player.

I remember his first game in the Pinstripe Bowl - how proud of that team I was battling Minnesota without a full squad.

LA battled that day and really impressed.

And this year, he gave us a truly remarkable performance.

I'll be rooting for him hard and will never count him out as he pursues his NFL dream.

I think OC Nixon knows what LQA can do, and his NFL connections will benefit LQA. At the very least Nixon can detail the RB’s intangibles and work ethic.
That's a great point. LQA has the football tough and skills except for size and even tougher with no size, he's not super quick or elusive. Blitz pick ups and running thru tackles is different in the league. Hopefully Nixon can grease a wheel.

I think his lack of speed, agility, elusiveness, and vision will make it hard for him to get drafted. He has value with his pass catching and blitz pickups so he’s sure to stick around a practice squad at the minimum. He ran over guys on a consistent basis here but that’s a pretty difficult thing to translate to the NFL.

I believe LQA’s last touch of the football was his touchdown reception in the Holiday Bowl. Seems like a fitting way to end his career as the leading receiver out of the backfield in SU history.
And last thing on the dome field was running to the fans hitting the cam ward celebration

He would be a #3 RB at best for most teams. So I guess what teams want to flip that position would be the spots to look at.
