I do not care what Michigan did. I hope they annihilate Bama.

Of course im rooting for Washington to win it all. Thats beside the point.

The SEC just took another step towards ruining a sport I love and absolutely screwed the ACC.

I hope Bama loses by 100
 
Michigan is a den of cheaters and can go pound sand. I'm just tired of Alabama and hold nothing against them personally. I was really hoping it was going to be Texas and Washington in the championship game but that ain't happening. I'm rooting for whoever wins in the TX vs WA matchup.

Feel bad for FSU. It comes down to should the 4 best teams NOW be in, or across the season - that's the debate. From a entertainment perspective, FSU right now would get taken out to the woodshed by any of the other teams.

FSU’s got the second best defense in the whole conversation and gets their qb2 back.


Bama won a come back national championship with their qb2 stepping in not so long ago.

This was a pander towards viewing dollars and the SEC, nothing more.

That's a perfectly fine take. I really don't disagree with it, but still think FSU would get handled long before the end of the 2nd half. Could not agree more about the SEC pander and would even throw in that the worst thing that could happen to ESPN's long-term plans is for FSU to have had their healthy QB and win it all.

That said, I don’t think Bama beats FSU head to head right now

Says who? FSU’s got a better defense than Georgia and Texas, and gets their qb2 back. Going undefeated in a power 5 conference doesn’t just happen because it’s speculated as a bad year for that conference. Either you’re legitimately a great team or an Auburn miracle happens.

The defenses are comparable … as for the miracle sure but FSU should have lost to BC so let’s not sit here and pretend they played lights out all year either.

Sure - but that was with Travis who they supposedly would be in with healthy..

Theres little if anything about Bama that says “they’re levels above FSU”

Travis has nothing to do with them giving up nearly 500 yards to BC … we played them tougher than FSU did on D. Should we be in? At some point there is a reality to face … Clemson and UNC not living up to their preseason rankings hurt the ACC …
 
I normally would pull for Michigan but they have a stink to them this year plus their schedule was beyond pathetic. I also despise Bama (which I must detest in secret since my wife went there). In the championship game, I'll be pulling for whomever the Wash-Texas winner is
 
Before I was rooting for the 4 undefeated teams to stay undefeated and have a clean playoff.

Now it's time for the chaos scenario.

Texas wins the playoff.

Florida State beats Georgia.

Florida State claims the title as the only unbeaten team, invalidating the playoff.

You better believe the fix will be in for Georgia to win that bowl game.

So? They won and with that FSU offense sans Travis they get boat raced because they would be fortunate to score … at the end of the day our other championship participant Louisville couldn’t beat Kentucky a middling SEC team.
