the only (literally only) positive if playing Pitt on Wednesday -- a win vs. them would lock us into the NCAA's -- it's a win vs. another tournament team. Beating VaTech wouldn't give us that same boost.

I agree he is an excellent coach and he has had success everywhere he has been to date. That being said, I believe his antics purposely brings self desired attention to himself; like constantly being on the court, writing in his diary during an entire game's duration, as in ours this year, etc.

Yes. It's not like Pitt shot 70% each of the 1st 2 games and we had 30 turnovers. They systemically dismantled the zone. To think that all of a sudden that the same personnel they've had all year couldn't produce a similar outcome from the last 2 games is silly.

We were in both games until about the 4min mark -- but if we win or lose on Wednesday, it would have nothing to do with the first 2 outcomes

I think it is something that basically to get into the tournament we will play our Achilles heal. If they dont win and go 0-3 against Pitt on the year...IMO i don't believe they deserve to get in.
