"scoop jardine is a point guard thats coming into his own". its only taken him 5 years to come into his own huh jay?

EVERYTHING this guy says is so generic that anyone can come up with. its never anything specific about a particular team's strength or weakness, its just bs that you can say about any team or player.

heres my jay williams impression, this is all he does (and really loves saying "this basketball team")

"this basketball team is really good. they can defend and knock down the open 3. they can be very dangerous in march. "

"this basketball team has alot of talent. if they can just consistently play hard theyll be really good."

"scoop jardine is coming into his own, hes the leader of this basketball team, he could take this basketball team to the final four."

wheres my espn contract?

I usually don't mention the "Duke thing" because I think most of it is stupid, but you can't tell me he would have that job if he went to school someplace else.

I actually think Jay Will is a great CBB analyst... I think the Scoop comment is accurate... First 5 games or so Scoop was looking like he wasn't going to be much of a factor; now he has come into his own... and btw he loves cuse every yr

He understands the game of basketball, but he's a terrible analyst.

He's the worst. I keep waiting for ESPN to put him out of his misery. He seems like an OK guy but he simply isn't good at his job. Everything is generic, and he struggles to get it out.

Agree Scoop has become a different player.

He was like a carton of half and half milk last year. You got half milk half fat.
Now hes skinnier, faster, experiecned in a no high post offense, and down to 2 percent fat. :D

He has so much around him to work with. And I am not talking about players as much as set pieces.

I look at him this year and I can't understand why we ran Rick on the elbow on his side all last year.
He must be THAT much better.

Seems like a decent guy, but almost never says anything controversial..

JW should just create a soundboard of his generic comments and ship that to every game he is supposed to be at. That way ESPN saves on airplane tickets.

It will have 20 buttons that a play-by-play guy can press at any time to get some analysis.

*presses #6* "This basketball team is very good, if they can..."

Yea he's really coming into his own.

Yeah, that's my opinion as well. He seems like a pretty likable guy, which is better than some ESPN's personalities, but he is so bland it hurts.
