Looks like Mark Coyle has quite the mess at Minnesota

Not to be the "society is to blame" guy but woman (and men) are viewed as commodities now. It's turned people into animals.

This is the hottest song out right now. Tell me how some may start to view the opposite s e x, when this is all you've got brainwashing you through your headphones and then corroborated by what you see in the club.

This isn't a defense at all. Just trying to help answer your question of why we seem to see an uptick in these awful incidents.

Wouldn't short-change porn's role in this stuff.

Never said anything about that. I'm just digging a little deeper. Most people can listen to music like that, go to the club etc.. and seperate themselves from it. Some can't. Couple that with a lifestyle where women throw themselves at you and some try to "catch" you and guys become desensitized to women being human and begin to look at them like objects.

Is this an excuse?.. HELL NO.

Is it reality?.. I believe the answer to that is yes.

The question I replied to was "what is wrong with people"? How do these student-athletes even get to this point?.. I'm just answering that.

I was just wondering if I can sue society...wonder if anyone has tried?

Fitzy only did it for the camera time. If I won the powerball I'd form a super PAC to fund someone to take him out during his next election.
Probably could start a collection and get enough money.
Guy made his bones suppressing evidence in a murder trial.

Are athletic programs breeding unacceptable cultures?

Wash. U men's soccer susp. for explicit remarks

ST. LOUIS -- The men's soccer team at Washington University in St. Louis has been indefinitely suspended for what the university calls sexually explicit comments and other inappropriate behavior toward the women's soccer team.

Members of the women's team alerted administrators Wednesday. The suspension of the men's program was announced Friday night.

The university said in a statement that comments made toward members of the women's team in an online document from 2015 were "degrading and sexually explicit."

Provost Holden Thorp also said in a statement that the allegations "suggest an unacceptable culture." The university declined further comment.

Three men's teams in the Ivy League have been involved in suspensions for similar behavior since November: Harvard University men's soccer, some members of Columbia University's wrestling team and Princeton University's men's swimming and diving team.

Since there was a football recruit involved (and looks like he's at the center of it) I wonder if that’s in the NCAA wheelhouse.

That is a fascinating question.

UNC's answer: "Well, this benefit was available to all students, so it's none of the NCAA's business."

This sitiuation has put a smirk on my face for a few days now since MC left us hanging for the "PURITY" that is the midwest;) Popcorn

This entire thing, has made me sick to my stomach.
Zactly...the whole lack of respect for this girl by these guys. Outcome...of =being raised by social media and music instead of parents...has jaded these guys into thinking of woman as a Ho.

Not really sure what's going on but society is much better than when you olds were kids.

Crumbling infrastructure, crippling debt, extremely high unemployment, a growing dependency on government subsidies and we'll throw in climate change to boot... Society is kickin' @$$, and that's in "the greatest country in the world."

I fear for the younger generations, am scared to death of the society my daughter will inherit, but hey, nobody will be able to hurt anybodies feely's without being publicly reprimanded... So there's that.

Don't forget huge racial divides, poor healthcare for the richest country in the world, and a widening gap between the super-rich and everyone else.

The grammar, spelling and punctuation have gotten much better.
Spoken English has gotten much worse. Just listen to the professionals on the sports talk shows in Syracuse.

The media, both print & broadcast (radio) have terrible business models. They bring in young employees for dirt cheap straight out of college. When they grow to a position where they should be compensated better, the company typically will not be able to accomodate. The only way to really make a decent living anymore in that industry is to continually move up and on to larger marketplaces.

You get what you pay for.
