Looks like UConn will get to experience the ACC after all.

At some point, you have to make decisions based on money alone. This was one of them.

Clemson is a great place for a college football fan to visit. I doubt any UConn fans are listening but if they are, I would encourage them to go to the game, see how big time football is done and enjoy the great hospitality of the Clemson fanbase. It is worth a visit.
Seeing a game with 85000 fans plus is truly amazing. If I wasn't a diehard SU fan, I could see how easy it would be to get on the bandwagon. The tailgating is awesome before the game. Two and a half hour road trip from where I am north of Charlotte.

According to NJ.com, Rutgers will be paying Liberty $1 million and UMass $1.3 million. I don't know what SU pays for one-off games.

I'm sure Gov. Christie will hype those games on WFAN when he sits in for Boomer again. :bat:

Go easy on them, you may want them back in a few more years to placate the northerners moving to the area. On second thought, never mind, stick it to them.

I just don't want them thinking that this game means that we want them in the ACC.

Too late. The deal is just a prelude to their inevitable invite, in their eyes, not mine.

This is perfect! This game will feature two of the programs that annoy me the most. I'll only have to ignore one game instead of two.

Hopefully Penn State is playing WVU that weekend...
