Looks like we could Doug Marrone as the next Tennessee Titans HC

The fact that Giants basically have made the TC the fall guy by keeping everyone but him that is going to push him towards the Philly Eagles job.

McAdoo/Spags keeping their jobs along with Reese is unbelievable. Coughlin was the only coach in the NFL over the past decade to play the Patriots/Belichick a minimum of 5 times and have atleast a winning record.

If I am Coughlin I am motivated to take the Eagles job and rebuild that D and be competitive.
 
Reports out of Boston today that Josh McDaniels is all but a lock to get the Titans head coaching job

Why? How many chances do Brady's OC's get to take credit for how good Brady is? Weis, OBrien, McDaniels all have taken credit for TB's greatness. I wouldn't want any of them.

maybe his shipped sailed, bailing on buffalo did not sit well with owners. i believe there is a trust issue with him----he appears to be a career assistant at this point, unless he demonstrates he is trustworthy and can get along with people.

Bill O'Brien is an excellent coach. He got Houston to the playoffs this season with no quarterback. If that's not impressive I don't know what is.

How bad is Brian Hoyer... Wow. As a Brown's fan, we already knew that. I agree, I like O'Brien, if he had a QB who was 1/10 as good as Brady, with his defense, that team would be solid.

Nah. His team won a division with the Luck-less Colts, Titans and Jaguars. I don't give BO much credit for having a great defensive team handed over to him. I do admit that he doesn't have a QB though he has the QB he chose. And he chose to leave in after throwing 4 INTs in the playoff game.

Yes because it would have been a better idea to take Hoyer out of the game for a QB that had been with the team for 3 weeks. He might have played Hoyer as the starter, but he didn't have a better option. TJ Yates/Ryan Mallett/Brandon Weeden/BJ Daniels are all horrible options.

Impossible.

I was repeatedly told on here that he was a lock for multiple HC gigs.

I'm sure he has a few offers and is deciding which 1 to grace with his presence.

He will likely quit it in a year or so, but you need to have that job 1st.

I don't know about this one. The Patriots college scouting director just became the Lions GM. He might fire Caldwell and the thought is McDaniels would go to Detroit and work with Stafford.

Ben Volin had him going to the Titans this morning with the Titans hire of their GM. Said strong ties there with McDaniels and its expected he will land there from his sources. Wouldn't shock me if he ended up in Detroit though. Titans are a better spot. Young QB, #1 overall pick this year. Promising young WR. More to build with. Will be interesting to see

Trollin could be right. I do agree Tennessee is a better job than Detroit. It would just come down to which McDaniels liked better.

Wouldn't trust Volin, I don't think he's very good at what he does... That being said McDaniels going to Tennessee makes sense.
