Looks like we could Doug Marrone as the next Tennessee Titans HC

at least now we can remember ordinary garoppolo was and how babers made him great in college

as a senior "375-of-568 (66.0 percent) for 5,050 yards with 53 TDs and nine INTs in 14 contests"

"Is a tad undersized with small hands and short arms. Uses a three-quarters delivery that could lead to batted balls. Works heavily out of the shotgun in a spread offense, and footwork could require adjustment to working from under center. Does not always feel pressure in the pocket. Does not rip the deep out or drive the ball with high RPMs. Undershoots and often hangs the deep ball. Makes receivers work for the ball downfield, and deep accuracy could stand to improve. Makes a lot of simple, one-look reads and was not heavily challenged by consistent pressure or complex looks in the Ohio Valley Conference."

Babers gets it done with small guys with messed up deliveries and weak arms who make simple one look reads.

Even the almighty Belichick fell for it.

If I were an NFL coach, I would definitely grow a moose douche. Football guys love moose douches. I would also gain 40 lbs. You don't want to become Reid or that guy from Kansas Mangina but a little heft is good.

Fat but not too fat + Moustache = Tenure
This may be one of the fumiest auto-corrects in history.

Jeff Fisher has been an NFL coach for 20 full NFL seasons and only had a winning record in 6 seasons. I mean the guy is so mediocre. Yet nobody ever says anything.

He has had 2 first round picks the last 3 NFL drafts and the team still hasn't drafted a QB. He is so overrated yet because he gives the media jackals clips and talks to them he is protected by the Peter Kings of the world.

Just kiss the media's a$$

I'm guessing you glossed over all of my posts in this thread on this subject. That doesn't surprise me.

What's to gloss over?

Give me a list of who has done better at both levels recently with similar programs/organizations.

when you're done with that, give godoog69 a list of people who have done better worse or the same at both levels recently with similar programs/organizations

i have a sneaking suspicion these lists will be exactly the same

Worse than Marrone: Greg Schiano

Better than Marrone: everyone else

Babers can be our Spurrier.

Garrapolo can be Belichick's Dave Brown

One of us? Why should that matter? Because he's an ex-player? Unless you played for Mac, he didn't give 2 sheets about ex-players, so why care about him?
Gees Bees i have no idea what got into me. It must be the Christmas Spirit:)

I read that St. Nick's delivery times are slipping and management is looking to push him out after the holiday and that they are looking at St. Doug in that position too.

Another potential landing spot for Marrone: The Saints

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/writer...-payton-stays-look-to-marrone-if-coach-leaves

Loomis would oversee any transition should one take place, however, and he and former Saints assistant coach Doug Marrone are very close. Marrone, who coaches the offensive line for the Jaguars, is going to be a coveted head-coaching candidate -- he left the Buffalo head-coaching role a year ago, opting out of his contract -- and while interest would hardly be limited to New Orleans, that is a place that appeals to him, and he already is very accustomed to the culture and way of doing business in that organization. He is certainly a very good fit in a spot where, frankly, many others coaches would not be.

I'm pretty sure Marrone's agent is writing Jason LaConfora's articles for him.

just a sample after a quick google of laconfora marrone

All signs pointing to Doug Marrone as next Jets coach
I'd be shocked if Doug Marrone was not one of the first candidates the Ravens look to as offensive coordinator. If not the 1st candidate
Other NFL coaches on (Michigan's) radar include New Orleans’ Sean Payton, Buffalo’s Doug Marrone and Dallas’ Jason Garrett (who is expected to sign an extension with the Cowboys shortly after the season).
Add in the Texans -- who didn't really have an offensive coordinator under Bill O'Brien last season but could add one in 2015 (Doug Marrone is very likely to resurface there) -- and the demand even further outpaces the supply

That is all on the owners. If they want a losing franchise then that's what they want. Clearly are not motivated to sell it anytime soon.

Why say 'contested' if you're gonna count the Cowboys game last week when Dallas is obviously mailing it in?

So was Buffalo. :)

Money from Bills for 2015 + Money from Jax for 2015 > Money from Bills for 2015

New HC coach job for 2016 will mean it was all worth it from him.
Getting paid NOT to coach the Bills>than anything!
