Rooting for Louisville won't be like rooting for the Big East. It would be more like rooting for the Big 12. At one point I thought that league would stay at 10 because there would be less teams to share the gold with. But I also think those that run that league will never allow a league with "12" in the name to have any other # of members. So Louisville is auditioning.

Hard to understand how people just turn over so quick. Maybe I will in 40,, 50 years, In 2014 The BE will be Mountain conf usa. I will root for Syracuse as if we were independent at that point

Well, for me it's been about eight years in the making since 2003.

That's me. I understand why most are "rooting" for NC State, but I still feel a connection w/ the BE that'll probably be there until we start playing in the ACC.

1. Know more about them.
2. We are not in ACC and it looks like it will be a while.
3. We got screwed when our previous ACC membership got aborted.

Not like Louisville was there in 1983 or so...hard to be passionate about that shotgun marriage.

With the three recent defections the BE is history. Whatever is left has little to do with traditional eastern football. Thats what makes the move to the ACC bearable for me. It is now more of the BE then the BE.
