Louisville won't be at full strength

Ryan McMahon or some other random white dude will come off the bench and throw up a bunch of 3's.
The county exec currently has double vision and has some undiagnosed medical issue. Probably not the best choice here. But I could see him raining 3s too.

Keep in mind they have had 4 of their last 5 games cancelled/postponed (including one with us) and have played 1 game since 1/27. That was on 2/1.

They have no shot blockers and their only decent 3 point shooting threat is David Johnson the Lesser. Not much of a passing team either...they rely pretty much completely on Jones and Johnson to make passes.

It looks to me as though this is a good matchup for us. Especially with them not having played in 2 weeks plus.

Agreed. The big issue for us, though, could be rebounding, as always. Louisville ranks just behind North Carolina and Pitt in the ACC in most of the team rebounding stats. We must compete on the boards, like we did against Virginia Tech.

Yup. If we can stay within 3 or 4 rebounds, we should win. If we get abused on the boards, or our bigs get in significant foul trouble, our chances are greatly diminished.

anyone seriously thinking athletes don't co-mingle ? that was never my experience. welcome no cover.

Well, it will be even up then. We will be without our starting center who has played less than one half of a game for the entire year. We will most likely not see Woody either as he has been shell of himself since he had some unknown illness some time ago. So I really don't feel bad for anyone we play when they too have missing players. In fact I cant remember the last time I felt bad for another team without a player or more. I feel bad for those players but no for their teams.

Louisville is -4.5 tomorrow.
I hate SU games but the SU ML I might be tempted.

I am shocked we are underdogs tomorrow.

I never, ever root for players to get injured.

But at this stage, I'll take any advantage we can get. Need wins.

But we tend to play down to the competition and suck if they have key guys out?

Louisville with half the team out is not a recipe for a W from my angle.

We usually suck versus UL...that has to factor into it

If half the team is out, and that's not a recipe for a W we're in big trouble.

I didn't say that it was a recipe for a W, by the way, just an advantage. One that we need to capitalize on.

So looking at UL again... This is the perfect game for Griffin and Guerrier to have good games on the boards and defensively given UL runs a comparable lineup. If their backup C who is 6-11 can't play then the tallest player left is 6-8. Alan and QG should be able to feast inside and Marek should be the tallest guy on the floor. It's the ideal situation for our us inside. We will need a much more locked in Kadary though. ULs backcourt has good size and is going to likely give Joe and Buddy some issues there.
