Pitino looks extra fired up after the suspensions/benchings... he was going nuts on his guys after they got down 10-3 seems to have fired them up.

I think he wants to win bad to show those guys nobody is bigger than the team.

Dakich asked McDonough if he thinks Syracuse's success is sustainable after Boeheim retires. Sean said yes, citing the great school and his respect for Hopkins and the staff he'll have around him. Then it became a commercial for SU (Dakich is married to a Cuse alum).

I can't believe how long it went on! Talking about the weather, and the wind, and it's really not that cold up here . . . (It really isn't. Second damn winter without snow. Creepy.) It brings to mind Dick V. waxing eloquently about Duke during a Carolina game.

At any rate, that was a good comeback win for Virginia on their home court, an absolute necessity. It makes our win over them look better. Although there's no shame being beaten by Louisville, that's for sure. (sob)

You just made me reminisce and get homesick for upstate a little... We were just discussing how moody we get out here that it was a rare cloudy day in AZ! I still miss Rochester and Syracuse tho..

I don't think she (Leigh Ross) is a Cuse alum but a former head coach of the SU softball team...
