Lyft Dropoff/Pick Up

Has anyone been using this and how has it been? Might use it tomorrow.

I usually have them drop me off at the VA Garage and have them pick me up at the circle in front of the VA. Just did it for basketball the other night. Works great.

Okay... so it sounds like avoid the official pickup/dropoff station that the university has setup?

Honestly had no clue about the pick up drop off spot. Just figured would be easier away from the Dome. Always enjoy walking off campus after a big win anyways

Just curious, was there any sort of surge charge on your experiences? I know those cheap rides can cost a little more with the charge.

if there is surge pricing you will pay more. sometimes 3 or 4 times more, I drive for uber and lyft, best to wait a while after the game if you want to avoid this.

Yes but it’s usually $1-$2

I drive as well. Obviously I never have on a gameday, but you can typically dodge surge pricing if you monitor the pricing before you commit. If you wait 10 minutes sometimes it goes away. You could also walk down to Genesee st or somewhere just far enough where it might not be surge area.
