Robinson faced the spread against WVU and had success. That's part of the reason why RR hired him. So he knows how to defend the "modern" offenses. Just as many old time DCs do.
You know you sound like bad talk radio - you obviously listen to a lot of it. The fact is that most of the guys you listen to on the radio don't know that much about football or any other sport - they are glorified fans who say what they have to say to get people to riled up. Of course they're are going to question Robinson - that creates discussion.
I do give you credit though for figuring out that GR was part of two winning Super Bowl teams in 1998 and 1999 - not the 1980s or early 1990s.
yep he was so respected that he was an assistant high school coach last year, and some sort of tv analyst this season. really sounded like people were banging down his door to give him a job
