I would not mind it nearly as much if we would just decide who we are. If Doug was afraid of doing anything but power running, he should have replaced Macky and Chibane with young 300-pounders. Then Smith and AAM should have been running the ball all year and Kinder should have been in for at least 25% of snaps. I am not saying that is the optimal call, but I believe we would be much better off than doing what we are now, which is continuing to fish for that middle ground.

The only thing that SU's running game does is allow the game to end faster. No first downs no Tds no long gains 3 and punt. Look at those poor fans in the stands. I have never seen a more lethargic group on a national football telecast. They are so dumb to go to a game to expect anything but a running game that puts everyone into a near coma. The Dome was built for speed and if the fans get excited a very difficult place for an opponent to play. This was a wake. Marrone star of the Standing Dead and a cast of thousands Sitting Dead. If only they were knowledgeable fans they would understand.
