But seriously, congrats to Matt. Probably the player I was most saddened about when he didn't succeed here. I was so hopeful when he committed and I saw interviews - he was so thoughtful and intelligent. And then the violin.

Obviously a good kid who worked hard. Had some glimmer of hope who could have made a difference if he was here for 4 or 5 years. Hopefully he is far away enough from Mom that he can't run home to. Good luck Matt.

I don't think many of us did see a pro career until his final season in George Washington, when he found some success. But after that, I'm not totally shocked. There were several Mercer players that played some overseas that I would have never guessed would- and I'm talking about bad Mercer teams when I was a student, not the one that beat Duke
