At the least, hoping this can help drive the scheduling of a home and home with Army. We came so close this year. Really would like to see SU play Army at Michie sometime soon.Tom is a great guy and has come back for some occasional lacrosse alumni events. Very driven early in his career and I knew it would pay off in a big way. Syracuse would be lucky to be able to hire him down the line.
This may give some insight on thatBigger question is when will we need a list of candidates?
A ginger?
I was very disappointed when that was changed. I may have to attend an Army game against a team not named SU. Bucket List.At the least, hoping this can help drive the scheduling of a home and home with Army. We came so close this year. Really would like to see SU play Army at Michie sometime soon.
It is a long shot given their obligations but a man can dream.
It is a beautiful campus and a special place every American should visit at least once in their life.I was very disappointed when that was changed. I may have to attend an Army game against a team not named SU. Bucket List.
Army games are a good time. Beautiful scenery.I was very disappointed when that was changed. I may have to attend an Army game against a team not named SU. Bucket List.
Hopefully. You would think as pretty much always the 2 best teams in NY, that we would make it a point to play eachother as frequently as possible...It is a beautiful campus and a special place every American should visit at least once in their life.
Let's hope a home and home is booked soon. This will be a challenge. With their commitments to their conference and annual games with Navy and Air Force, they just have 2 slots open per season.
That said, it looks like both schools have openings in 2026 and 2027. It would be great to have the cadets in Syracuse again and a big crowd at Michie to watch Army and Syracuse go at it for the championship of the NY state.
Three open slots but one always goes to Air Force.Hopefully. You would think as pretty much always the 2 best teams in NY, that we would make it a point to play eachother as frequently as possible...
in the Battle For New York.
Correct me if I am wrong...as of this past year Army & Navy are now in the same conference so Army would have 3 open slots...?
Ok so 4 slots...1 to Air Force so 3 remaining.Three open slots but one always goes to Air Force.
Army -Navy is not an AAC league game. Both play a full league schedule outside of that game. Which means there are just 2 openings on the Army schedule.Hopefully.
