USILA DI Coaches' Poll: Navy Enters Top 20

Just like the Cascade/Maverik Media Poll, the coaches decided to flip Notre Dame and Syracuse on the strength of the Fighting Irish's 13-12, double overtime win over the Orange. Also like the media, ND captured 24 of 25 first-place votes; however, the lone dissenter among the coaches had Maryland in the top spot (while the Syracuse retained a No. 1 vote from the media).

Elsewhere in the Top 10, Virginia jumped Duke and Cornell to land at No. 6, and Brown rounded out the group after topping Princeton.

The only new entry to the Top 20 is No. 18 Navy, now 7-3 after topping Boston University 14-6.

Nike/LM Rankings: Irish, Orange Swap 1-2 Spots (LaxMag)

Notre Dame edged Syracuse in double-overtime on Saturday afternoon in South Bend and claims the top spot in rankings, while Syracuse drops to No. 2 Four of the next five teams in last week's rankings held serve, leading to limited movement in the top nine spots.

But the middle of the pack continues its weekly shuffle. No team near the bottom of the Top 20 is safe, as those receiving consideration are close to breaking in.
