So because people werent constantly talking about it in the thread it means he was healthy enough to play?

If anything is the truth, I think the reason he waited so long to declare was because he was hoping to be healthy enough to play, and then would declare right afterwards. But when they told him “no you aren’t healthy enough to go” that’s when he dropped his declare for the draft message.

that makes the most sense in my head, otherwise I suspect he would have declared closer to Tucker, Williams and Bergeron

of course i knew he tweaked his ankle 6 weeks ago and was questionable and missed the last game over a month ago.

Whether he was injured or not, absolute heartbeat of the defense. I would never have begrudged Mikel either way. Instead, I thank him for choosing Syracuse and wish the absolute best for him. One of our finest representatives.

its honestly bizarre that no one in the media, no coach, no player including THE player is talking about his injury in any way shape or form except for this forum... and it has now turned into a 'significant' leg injury? we thought he may play against BC 5 weeks ago lol.

I think 4th-6th. He’s the type of LB teams want in the more wide open NFL (good rushing the passer, good playing in space, good in coverage).

I expect him to get a combine invite and interview really well.

May come down to size and strength, as that’s the only knock I can see teams having on him.

Agreed. Franklin is a little thicker at 235 lbs but he may be able to buff up a bit. I'm a Bills fan and think he'd be a similar type of player to a Matt Milano who plays at 6'-0" 223 lbs. Mikel is 6'1" 224 lbs.
