If it’s based on a bunch of bs 7 inning double headers .. hard pass .. just play 154 real games like they did from 1900 to 1960s162 games might still be possible.

NO players are voting no ? Sounds fakePlayers are voting on the last MLB proposal now. They have until 3 pm to respond. Reports indicate no players are voting no.
Another report says if the dispute is settled this afternoon, free agency will start tonight. Spring training could start as soon as this weekend.
Gonna be a wild ride.
That's crazy, players would have zero off days and get burnt out. Baseball barely has any off days anyway. They should simply focus on the deal and starting the seasons. If the owners wanted to win some goodwill with the players, they can pay them full salary even if some games are cancelled.
It should not need to be “a bunch.”If it’s based on a bunch of bs 7 inning double headers .. hard pass .. just play 154 real games like they did from 1900 to 1960s
Haha, as ifIf the owners wanted to win some goodwill with the players…
How else you going to make up 12 ? They canceled two weeks of gamesIt should not need to be “a bunch.”
You could extend the season at least a week. How else you going to make up 12 ? They canceled two weeks of games
They are discussing extending the regular season and scheduling double headers. It is feasible. You could extend the season at least a week.
Again .. hard pass on playing games in mid November in the North eastYou could extend the season at least a week.
from the article I posted above:How else you going to make up 12 ? They canceled two weeks of games
Oh, I agree - more of a hypothetical than a realityHaha, as if
Average temp in most cities on November 1 is higher than April 10.Again .. hard pass on playing games in mid November in the North east
Why don’t the owners just come out and say they want as few APRIL games as possible because they are poorly attended ?from the article I posted above:
For at least one more day, a doomsday scenario would appear to be on hold, with the example of the 1990 lockout looming large. That year, the owners locked the players out of spring training for 32 days; the resulting settlement included an Opening Day pushed back by a week, a season end date extended by three days, and all but two of the 26 teams playing 162 games.
Depends on when they actually start the regular season and how many games they have to make up. Personally, I hate 7 inning double headers. It should not need to be “a bunch.”
Note my reference to mid NovemberAverage temp in most cities on November 1 is higher than April 10.
Also shortening spring training virtually assures more pitching injuries .. just bite the bullet and play 154Depends on when they actually start the regular season and how many games they have to make up. Personally, I hate 7 inning double headers.
You’re a ray of sunshine. Things are looking-up. Are you incapable of joy? lolAlso shortening spring training virtually assures more pitching injuries ..
You are hilarious .. I want a legit 154 game season.. trying to minimize risk of injury to the players and you want some Frankenstein video game season comprised of two weeks of spring training and 20 double headersYou’re a ray of sunshine. Things are looking-up. Are you incapable of joy? lol
