Just let Eli run point for a few minutes each half with Buddy and Goodine. No reason for a freshman, who should be a rotation guy this year on a normal Syracuse team, playing 36+ per game.

Agreed. And honestly it can stall his development too. Fatigue can wear on confidence when you struggle as a result. Joe is a super confident guy but you can see the perplexion on his face with all the misses. Also it's not like the Cooney arguments. Trevor was a menace on D and that had a lot to do with his court time.
