I don't remember when it was last when all the tickets on the first and second levels were sold out before the season even started.

We drew a little over 37K in 2018. It looks like 40K will be almost a given. That will really help the home field advantage...

Back in the mid 1980's and 1990's and early 2000's, the crowd had a definite effect on the opposing team. My real wish for the 2019 Syracuse University Football Season is that Coach Dino Babers, his Staff and especially the Players finally get an opportunity to hear how ear splitting loud the Dome can be when it's full. It's time for FOOTBALL TO BE KING AGAIN AT SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY. Go Orange!!!!!!!!!

The cakes probably less then half done still. In 3-4 years the dome will be mostly done, I assume housing will be taken care of and he will have the roster depth he needs.

In the Syracuse.com article it says when single game Clemson tickets go on sale they will be available in person only at the dome...is that true? Would be a bummer if I can't buy them online since I can't be there in person that day

Booked flight and hotel for Clemson. Hopefully tickets wont be too difficult or expensive on the secondary market. Honestly though, it's really awesome actually having to worry that tickets might be expensive.

I bought a "new" season ticket in 302 as my method of communication to Dino that I'm happy and proud of what he's done. I've had them off and on when I lived in Virginia, but is my first season ticket since moving to Colorado. I'm hoping it will also force me to find stuff to do in CNY in the fall. I have a project in Binghamton for about a month so will arrange it for the Clemson part of the football schedule. However, there's only one home game in October and two in November, at opposite ends of the month. Scheduling will be tricky but I'm pretty excited and happy that I made that choice. CNY in the fall is my favorite season...

Honestly I think the best option, even if the Clemson game is the only one you can attend is to buy seasons or a three-game package and try to sell the games you can't make it to. With the dynamic pricing model I expect the starting price for Clemson may well be north of $75 and a full season starts at $125.

I typically have to give away my season tickets to games I don’t make but since the season ended I have had emails from friends saying they will take them without me asking.
Syracuse football is fun.
Now we just need a 7-5 to 8-4 season this year to validate the love. We can expect more but keep expectations reasonable for this second year.

There’s plenty of state parks that can keep you busy. I would try hitting as many of those as you can and Letchworth is a must when the leaves are changing.

For those that constantly crap on SU athletics "marketing"... it is very smart to release a story like this in advance of single game tickets going on sale. Creating a sense of urgency tied to demand is savvy.
