I was already about 50 years old culturally when I was born: my musical tastes tend toward classical, jazz and Tin pan Alley over Rock, country and rap. People ask my what my favorite band is and I tell them "the TJB". "The what?" "The Tijuana Brass". That's as hep as I get. ("What's hep?").
