What is a "tax stamp"? Is that the tattoo in the lower back? That damn tax stamp
Yeah but tobacco kills you dude! It is both extremely addictive and it kills you! And you can still buy cartons of the stuff at any convenience store or gas station in the entire nation to your hearts content (or discontent). Not much of a WAR. Would be much more mad at a friend or family member if I caught them with a pound of that stuff.
He probably had enough weed where it was considered distribution level… Maybe that's not even legal, but he didn't have a tax stamp for his weed sales? What is a "tax stamp"? Is that the tattoo in the lower back?

You're probably right, but I was just being a dumbass. He probably had enough weed where it was considered distribution level… Maybe that's not even legal, but he didn't have a tax stamp for his weed sales?
He’s looking at 10 years. YikesFelony arrests always happen to Alabama right before the NCAA Tourney.
At least this guy didn't have a firearm.
I feel that way about cigarettes. As someone who is sick and tired of smelling pot in public venues, I cannot stand Albany.
Yes. And heavy abuse of Mcdonald’s leads to diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. Everything in moderation folks.Well, new studies show that heavy use does rot your brain cells and alters your appearance and speech patterns

Of beer?Isn't possessing that quantity still a crime in New York?
who is going to pay such a tax and thereby alert the authorities to having purchased the illegal substance in the first place ?He probably had enough weed where it was considered distribution level… Maybe that's not even legal, but he didn't have a tax stamp for his weed sales?
EDIT: if you were looking for another reason to never want to go to Alabama, read this Google summary:
"If you are arrested for marijuana possession in Alabama, authorities care about a "tax stamp" (or lack thereof) because it serves as an additional felony charge used to penalize individuals, particularly those suspected of dealing or possessing significant quantities. Alabama law requires that anyone in possession of illegal drugs—including marijuana—must purchase and affix a stamp from the Alabama Department of Revenue as proof that an excise tax has been paid."
So it's illegal to have and distribute marijuana in Alabama… But if they catch you with marijuana, they charge you with a felony for not having paid a tax for the thing is illegal to buy. The crazy thing is if they think he's selling it, he could actually go to jail for 10 years.
But he'll still probably play on Friday.
Racist Alabama cops probably didn't know that they were dealing with a member of the Crimson Tide. I imagine all charges will be dismissed.
I especially enjoy it while I’m drivin on the highway. As someone who is sick and tired of smelling pot in public venues, I cannot stand Albany.
Right, it is an optional way they have implemented to make people into felons... From what I understand in my two minutes of search, the way the law is written, the law enforcement has wide discretion as to whether or not to apply "distribution" or "missing tax stamp" charges. (IANAL)who is going to pay such a tax and thereby alert the authorities to having purchased the illegal substance in the first place ?
Be careful with comments like this. Who knows what kind of ads you're going to get. From what I understand in my two minutes of search, the way the law is written, the law enforcement has wide discretion as to whether or not to apply "distribution" or "missing tax stamp" charges. (IANAL)
That's funny... I am seen that acronym used so many times, it never occured to me what it spells out...Be careful with comments like this. Who knows what kind of ads you're going to get.

In Alabama, I'm sure that means black people become felons and white people are charged with misdemeanor "possession" for the exact same incident.
It isn't coincidental that Felons are restricted from voting in Alabama... But once you find out you might go to jail for 10 years for a baggie of Marijuana and a bong, giving up your right to vote for freedom seems like a good deal. It is a systematic way of reducing the right of black people to vote.
But that veered way into politics. My apologies.
