I get this argument but the math makes sense for 5 fouls.
NBA game 48 minutes/ 6 fouls= 1 foul for every 8 minutes.
College game 40 minutes/ 5 fouls = 1 foul for every 8 minutes.

If the games were called the same way I'd agree with that but they're not.
