And tax rate on contract for 41 games is double what he pays nowJames still wins games when he plays. And LA is cool,... I guess
I don't get why teams would want a guy who can't shoot, but what do I know.Just a friend of a friend of a friend situation, so take it with a grain of salt, but I have a friend of a friend of a friend who works in the Suns' front office and they're saying they're confident that they're about to acquire Lonzo in an AD to Lakers deal.

Both of the Warriors FAs got serious injuries. Do the Warriors do right by them?
He was always going to get a max offerDurant is a grown man. He wanted a ring and he saw the chance slipping away. It was his chance to "save" the Warriors, repair his relationship with his teammates to an extent, and show the front office that he was deserving of a mega-deal. It was terrible luck, and yes there was a lot of outside pressure, but at the end of the day, it was his decision.
LeBron is launching his UniBrowVision network. So, does anybody know why Anthony Davis wants to play for the Lakers?
I can't understand it.
Total mess from owner to GM to coach.
Players hate each other.
Old Man LeBron doing weird LeBron things.
Like, what's the upside?

I wish more stars had the mindsight of Kawhi but I don’t think other stars would do what he did.
NBA stars want either superteams or elite markets to make marketing dollars.
Kawhi wanted an elite market to make marketing dollars though. Or at least that was his hope back when he demanded the trade. We’ll see if that’s still the case in a few weeks.
I think another big draw for Kawhi to LA is as simple as he just wants to play back closer to home. I think I read or heard somewhere that he has two young children and wants to raise his family closer to his own family and where he grew up.
I don’t think the Warriors are a lock to offer both of them max deals.100%
Wheres the dude arguing with me a couple weeks ago that was saying VanVleet is terrible?
I like Doris Burke but cmon with that DeRozen chit. He had nothing to do with them winning.
Doris this sentimental crap you are trying to get out these guys now Marc Gasol isn’t necessary.
I don’t think the Warriors are a lock to offer both of them max deals.
That Durant would be 42.4 million and Klay Thompson would be 39 million.
With luxury tax repeat offender status next year would cost the Warriors 160 million for those 2 alone to not play one minute.
Then they'll have to give Draymond a big raise in a year as well. Not sure if they'll have more cap flexibility a year from now though.
Looney is a free agent this year and I don't know if Golden State can afford to let both Looney and Dray walk out the door. They're both so good defensively and effective in the screen and roll game with Curry and Klay.
This is what I mentioned awhile back that Golden State was very fortunate to have the Steph/Klay/Dray core take up so little of their salary cap space allowing them to build out depth. Now it's time for everyone to get paid and they have some tough decisions to make.
Iguodala and Livingston were talking like they were done earlier in the playoffs. There's 17 million right there.
It might cost every bit of that and then some if they want to keep Looney. He's only making $1.6M this year.
Livingston I can see retiring but I think Iggy probably stays for the last year of his contract. He's still playing at a pretty high level and is set to make over $17M next season. Why walk away from that?
I think they sign Looney and Klay and let Draymond go. He is diminishing returns - I know he had a triple double - but sometimes numbers lie. Then they'll have to give Draymond a big raise in a year as well. Not sure if they'll have more cap flexibility a year from now though.

Is the Toronto GM a free agent now too? That may be bigger re-sign than Leonard
