NBA 2018-2019

They were all on team USA in 2016. Wonder how long they’ve been talking about this?

I know Durant and Jordan are tight, not sure where Kyrie fits in.

But here's a scenario now; Jordan is getting a lot of money, Brooklyn already has a good young center, Jarrett Allen. So I can't wait for some close games next year where Jordan plays a few too minutes over Allen, they lose, Kyrie gets pissed because KD's buddy is playing too m any minutes while KD isn;t even on the court...

Ok I need to go to bed or something

Trueblue, Boston media is saying Horford would have stayed if Boston ponied up. They wouldn’t give more than 4-80 for Al and Philadelphia guaranteed him 97 million and 12 more in bonuses for winning a championship.
That’s fine. Love watching Jimmy Butler leave Philly, only part of that team that scared me. That being said, the bucks and raptors are still better teams than us by a wide margin rn.

Free Agency class next year looks to be real weak though.

I had to take a break so I missed a few pages, but I would like to talk about the Bucks. I know it's a lot of money for Brogdon, but am I wrong to really not like this for them? He was either their second or third best (probably third) player and this is a team that should be trying to win a title. I dunno.

From what I’ve heard, Brogdon hated the city of Milwaukee and the Bucks think his foot is about to fall off. More importantly, I think the front office views Sterling Brown and Donte DiVincenzo as capable of adequately replacing him. And if we arrange our moves correctly, I think we have a TPE for $10 million that we could theoretically use if we want to.

The George Hill re-signing is the one that I really disliked. Just way too much money for an okay role player that happened to get hot for a 10 game stretch.

Also, not that it REALLY matters but just semantics: Milwaukee would likely argue that Brogdon was the 5th best player on the team behind Giannis, Middleton, Bledsoe, and Brook.

I'm not gonna say I follow the team as close as you (or obviously the front office). I love Brogdon's game, I think he can fit in to pretty much any lineup, knock down 3s, good defender. I just love his game. I think he's definitely better than Bledsoe and Brook, but I guess what do I know? And I get the foot thing. I'd just be really surprised if Brown or DiVincenzo have a 50/40/90 season in them.

This is just objectively funny

Pelicans supposedly also picked up Favors for draft picks, making the West ev an more interesting.

Another good move for the Jazz...

He played on one of the worst Lakers teams of all time, but I liked him a lot. Never understood why he never got starters minutes anywhere. Always seems to get about 20 minutes max, but he’s always solid.

The best move for Leonard at this point is to stay in Toronto.

If he signs with the Lakers, he’ll be on a team with three of the top five players in the NBA. He’ll also be on a team with five forwards and no one else. Winning a title will depend on LBJ, Davis, and Leonard all staying healthy.

If he signs with the Clippers, they’ll be an incomplete team. If bringing in a second star won’t happen until next year, then he can wait until next year as well.

So yeah, I think the one-year deal with the Raptors now makes the most sense, all things considered.

The Lakers are either going to end up with Kawhi or Danny Green and a ham sandwich.

D’Angelo not waiting for the Lakers...hmmm. Hope he knows something.

D'lo Russell was supposedly very into Minny and KAT. Interesting change of events. Warriors will play even smaller ball now.

I'm hoping Kawhi is going to sign with Toronto, but is stringing it out to weaken the Lakers as a threat.

Would be legitimately diabolical.

Minnesota couldn't get rid of Wiggins' bad contract and lost out on Russell.

It's now or never for Malachi. If he can't make this roster, he should go overseas. Warriors have don't have enough cap space.

Jimmer time!
