I had a friend in college that had some sharp shooter training. She used to do competitions and stuff. Anyway, she wore glasses... except for when she competed. She said when she could see the target clearly it threw her off. When the target was blurry, she just naturally aimed for the middle of it and was more accurate that way.
Anyway, if Curry doesn't bring the goggles back into fashion he's completely wasted this.
This is very relevant to my situation. I've had glasses since college (like 2011) that I need when I try to see long distance. Vision isn't that bad (in my opinion), but definitely is challenging seeing things far away (like the board in a classroom, tv at meetings, street names, etc). I've never gotten contacts because didn't think it made sense, I would just wear my glasses if I needed to. Actually, I probably should wear them alot more than I do. I've almost adjusted to the poorer vision. I never wear them playing sports because didn't feel like risking getting them hit. However, there are some days when I definitely feel like I struggle to focus on the hoop, especially if I had been wearing them for the majority of the day beforehand (like at work).
I tell friends this and some are surprised I even have glasses because the only time I see them is like playing bball. I am considering contacts because I think it would be helpful, and I am wondering how it might chance the shooting thing.
