no, the claim that magic didn't really show up and do the work is resonating in los angeles; people believe it. and further, people are pissed that he chose today to speak out, knowing full well that he was going to shjt all over the presser introducing vogel
Her brother had the same last name and was killed for how he and Mitch Kupchick ran the Lakers. Jim Buss running the Lakers was killed in the media. Her problem is following one of the greatest owners in sports history, and sharing his name, and thus having unrealistic expectations that she should be as good an owner.
Right now the Knicks are less of a clown show than the Lakers. As a Knicks fan I personally hope the Lakers change nothing. Laker fans don’t know misery.
As good as Steph has been he has garbage in the NBA Finals. The Warriors cake-walking into the Finals without a Top 5 player in the league just demonstrates how absurd Durant going to GS is for the purposes of competitive balance.
He is a top 5 player.Curry isn't a top 5 player in the league??? That is nuts. Is someone going to tell me Harden or Westbrook is better?
Also to say he's been garbage in the finals really isn't accurate. That's Max Kellerman talk.
His finals averages are 25.4/6/5.
Durant shouldn’t rush back as he has nothing to lose.Am I crazy for thinking worst case scenario for GS is Durant tries to rush back and play when he's not close to 100% specifically because the talk that GS is fine without him starts to bother him.
Throws off the rhythm they found in the Portland series without him on the floor and then you have Durant forcing things to prove he's needed when he isn't playing at full strength and may not be as efficient.
If Iggy isn't 100% though that really hurts them. Him and Draymond are pretty much the perfect defensive chess pieces in the modern NBA with their versatility, energy and athleticism on that end.
He is a top 5 player.
Durant, LeBron, Giannis, Steph, Kawhi are my top 5.
Then Harden, Anthony Davis, Dame Lillard, Embiid, George round out my top 10.
With what shooting percentages in the Finals?
He hasn’t been good isn’t the Finals.
Also I guessing his numbers have been better the last 2 years where Durant’s have been really good as he has the MVPs. Durant has been the best player in the Finals the last 2 years.
exactly my pointHer brother had the same last name and was killed for how he and Mitch Kupchick ran the Lakers. Jim Buss running the Lakers was killed in the media.
Jeanie has been just as unstable and doesn’t get the same coverage.
Consistency is all that is needed.
I know you didn't. Eric did.
I think you misunderstood my post. When I said they were doing this without a Top 5 player I was referring to the absence of Durant. I wasn’t referring to Curry at all who may very well be a Top 5 player also.

If the Bulls deal #7 for Lonzo Ball they might break the fanbase and get GarPax fired. If Ball gets dealt to Chicago for #7. Is it worth the Pels dealing AD for Ingram, Kuzma, 4 and 7? As the resident Pels fan, I think I'd take it. 3 top 7 picks with 2 good young players is a nice haul. Ingram though presents his own problems if you trade for him. What the hell do you pay him after the season?

The Knicks #3 pick or Celtics Tatum package are probably better.
The 4th pick isn’t worth that much in a draft with 3 studs.
It’s not a bad deal though.

Lonzo can’t shoot. If the Lakers can turn his first 2 years into the 7th overall pick they win bigtime. How do you figure that would break them? That makes little sense. They need a PG real bad and Lonzo is certainly preferable to Coby White since Morant and Garland won't be available at 7. Their own main blogs acknowledge that they'd have to likely give up 7 and something to get him and think it's worthwhile, so not sure where you came up with that.

Ball hasn’t shown he is worth that.
GarPax could trade Jabari Parker’s contract and a pick for Mike Conley and keep the 7th pick.
Lonzo Ball for a top 10 pick insane.
I was looking at the 1998 draft.
How the heck did Michael Olowokandi go first overall?
I mean his college numbers weren’t crazy 22–11 with 3 blocks. That draft was loaded and this stiff went first.
