I don’t think Steve Kerr’s mind is on the game. They shouldn’t play tonight. Take away the things we numb ourselves with, and things might get done for once.
I thought Phoenix had that guy until he pulled a no showThe more 3 pointer heavy the game gets, the more it’s like this IMO.
Pretty much nobody has a guy you can just dump the ball to in the paint to get a bucket or get to the line to help break up a drought.
You see both more extreme runs and droughts when everyone relies so heavily on the 3.
All guns should be illegal….the public had their shot and proved they can’t be trusted with them . Sure criminals will get their hands on them to a degree.. but let’s face it .. most of those criminals are going to use them to rob / loot …./ drug trade related crap . I’d take those criminals in a minute over the crazy head teenager shooting everything in sightI don’t think Steve Kerr’s mind is on the game.
What would have happened if GS refused to play. Would the NBA have made them forfeit? Putting that aside that fourth quarter last night was crazy. Obviously GS was running out of time but didn't people think they were going to come all the way back. Until Luka had that dunk and GS got a little sloppy, the last ten point deficit looked attainable.I don’t think Steve Kerr’s mind is on the game.
All depends on Rob Williams. He neutralizes Bam.What would have happened if GS refused to play. Would the NBA have made them forfeit? Putting that aside that fourth quarter last night was crazy. Tonight is a huge game five. Can Miami protect home court in a series where home court means little? Can they get out to a good start instead of starting out 0 for 100? Will all their injuries and bumps and bruises ultimately work in Boston's favor although they have bumps and bruises as well.
I'm too lazy to look up his contract situation but it's incredible the progress he has made as a raw rookie until now. I'm bullish on Williams. All depends on Rob Williams. He neutralizes Bam.
First of all, Steve Kerr has a lot of gravitas with me when talking about loss of life to senseless violence.I don’t think Steve Kerr’s mind is on the game.
I agree amending the constitution would be powerful and put some of these issues to rest. The problem it takes a two thirds vote to pass an amendment, instead of a simple majority. I don't think the democrats were even close enough to 67% after the 2008 election.First of all, Steve Kerr has a lot of gravitas with me when talking about loss of life to senseless violence.
That said, the power to:
a) end all private gun ownership or
b) legalize abortion; or
c) enact any other fundamental change,
rests with the people, through the Constitutional Amendment process.
The real issue is this. NO ONE in Congress, or the White House, EVER wants to submit a Constitutional Amendment that bans guns or allows abortions. EVER. Look at the first O'Bama Congress. A huge majority in both houses. They did not attempt to submit any Amendments or even definitive legislation on the issues. Instead, they did health care. I don't recall Trump coming in with as big of a cushion in Congress, but the same observations apply. Instead, he went with changes to taxes. (Biden doesn't get that criticism, as he has no margin to work with.)
These are the two biggest fund raising issues for politicians. A final, definitive Constitutional Amendment would take away the political cash cows.
Yeah .. no amendments gonna pass .. what why not just ban the assault weapons again ? Maybe 5 people die instead of 20… not great but betterI agree amending the constitution would be powerful and put some of these issues to rest. In today's polarized political scene, it will be a very difficult hurdle to get anyone to cross party lines.
Which is why we haven't had any amendments in recent history. Things like the voting age got traction because of the Vietnam war and draft
Ban assault weapons, strict background checks and a slow and thorough process for everybody, and make the age higher. Psycho 18 year olds whose brains aren’t even fully developed yet and who can’t even rent a car, shouldn’t be able to buy these things on their birthdays.Yeah .. no amendments gonna pass .. what why not just ban the assault weapons again ? OK, why don't we take this discussion elsewhere and get back to discussing the NBA.
Which I don't really even care about, but my contract tells me I have to say.
The o/u was 204 which they might hit if the game goes 2OTThis game looks like it’s being played in 2004.
Heat really miss Herro. Especially when Strus can't hit the side of the barn. Good thing Vincent is helping keep them in this.Who wants it less …eastern conference finals game 5
Bam needs to realize as this game goes on Rob Williams knee is starting to affect him. I hope he doesn’t though.Heat really miss Herro. Especially when Strus can't hit the side of the barn. Good thing Vincent is helping keep them in this.
Right. If they can't make the outside game work you have to go inside. Same with Butler. Heat have missed 50 shots thru 3 (22 for 72). Ouch!!!Bam needs to realize as this game goes on Rob Williams knee is starting to affect him. I hope he doesn’t though.
It's over. TV's everywhere but New England being shut off.Took the Celtics 3 quarters to warm up, but they cookin now.
Reminds me of how I play. Old man legs take forever to reach peak running efficiency.
