Good lord that charge call was terrible. Especially for 40 feet awayScott Foster. Of Course.
We knew the Celtics could play defense but they are on a whole another level tonightMan, two bunnies missed by the Celtics, and despite that, still up 15 after the first quarter
Ball don’t lieLol…give me a break
Your thoughts on the officiating?Another game where Boston should be up 25.
I wouldn’t be feeling good as a Celtic, knowing that Miami will be at the FT line the entire 3rd and 4th quartersI suppose both teams feel pretty good heading into halfime - Celts up 6, and Heat had the late momentum.
But as a fan anyway I always feel like crap when my team loses about 10 points off its lead in the last few minutes.
Not great. Lowry falls down and gets calls. Tucker fouls everyone and gets away with it, but Tatum needs to be better.Your thoughts on the officiating?
It's typical. Even in college. The games are too fast for the refs so the teams that drive and initiate contact will get the calls. The team that stand on the perimeter and hoist threes will not get any calls. Celtics need to keep doing what they are doing on offense but need to get back to first quarter defense. They had a foot on the throat but stopped putting the pressure.Your thoughts on the officiating?
Agreed, but Butler does the same thing as Lowry and ALWAYS seems to get the call. When’s the last time Butler didn’t fall down after one of his 10-footers?Not great. Lowry falls down and gets calls. Tucker fouls everyone and gets away with it, but Tatum needs to be better.
Boston is the far more talented team, but they tend to pout(especially Tatum) when things don’t go their way and officials are human and Miami is going to get the calls.Agreed, but Butler does the same thing as Lowry and ALWAYS seems to get the call. Tatum needs to focus and grow up. It’s annoying when he stops playing to gesture at refsBoston is the far more talented team, but they tend to pout(especially Tatum) when things don’t go their way and officials are human and Miami is going to get the calls.
That said 16-7 foul differential isn’t accurate to how the game is being played. I’m just a fan of basketball, but if I was a Celtics fan I’d be seething as well.
Need to push the pace like they did in the first quarter as well. It's typical. Even in college. The games are too fast for the refs so the teams that drive and initiate contact will get the calls.
