NBA Thread 2021-22 Season

As she was getting dragged away, it looked like she had a ref jersey and whistle under her top. That security guard was onto them. As soon as the friend put the camera up, the runner took off, and the security guard made the move.. Check the thread...

Grayson Allen outplaying DeRozan and LaVine the last two games was a pleasant surprise.

I don’t really think we’ll beat Boston without Middleton but I think there’s at least more hope for us than Brooklyn had.

Otto Porter with an absolutely awful pass. I don’t get that one bit. Forget the matchup you have Steph!

He wouldn’t be my choice for someone to build around. I didn’t have great vibes about him even his one year at LSU.
Yup, way too many red flags now. His team stunk at LSU. He’s missed two entire seasons. He still won’t take an outside shot, basically ever. He was passing up layups in last year’s playoffs because he didn’t want to get fouled. Forced his way out of Philly after sucking in the playoffs, because the coach stated the obvious.

Apropos of nothing, but I always got the sense that Nash was a great basketball player but a pretty weird dude as a person.

I was surprised when he got into coaching.

Talking about missing the entire season.

I was talking to somebody and not watching the TV closely, but I saw highlights of Zion doing some sort of explosive reverse or 360 dunk prior to the game. He can do that yet he can't even play off the bench?

Zion would play today if the organization let him.

The T-Wolves game was criminally bad officiating. Gotta say the other 2 games by eye test didn't look that bad. Phoenix looked a step behind all night and that often leads to foul discrepancies and I think Luka's non-stop whining and begging for calls plays into Dallas getting a short shift on a regular basis, and if the guy at the end could make even 1 of 2 they probably still hold on.

Yeah, I also think the team that is down in the series is naturally more aggressive and likely to get more calls.

The Minny/Mem game seemed to get away from the refs.

I can't really speak to the Wolves/Grizz game, but Dallas was literally intentionally fouling Gobert all night to put him on the FT line. Kinda likewise with Valanciunas in the Pelicans game, but just in general, New Orleans was just really taking it to Phoenix last night. That is kinda interesting though.

Good point on the intentional fouling.
