I didn’t watch. How did Towns only take 4 shots in 32 minutes?

Didn't seem like they were setting things up or running sets for Townes at all. Townes needs to calm down as well, complains after every foul call etc. When Memphis was making their runs it seemed that every trip on offense for Minnesota ended in a bad forced shot towards the end of the shot clock by Russell or Edwards and even worse Beverley who took about 4-5 horrendous shots in the 4th

Beverly killed them with his shot selection in the 2nd quarter too. That run cost them the game.

Yeah he just gets carried away. Edwards needs to be the go to guy. How many last second shots did Russell take last night? Not all were his fault but there were quite a few

Agreed, I don't think Porter or Wood are guys that help build team culture. I think Houston has to start building there as well. Too many misfits and me first guys from what I saw out there, some talent for sure but they need some vets that can set the example ( gordon, schroder and woood are not those guys) and rookies who will accept their roles.

Wood is weird . One game he’ll go 30 /15 and hit 7/10 from three .. the next night …12/5 .. 1/10

Right call IMO. Once the Raptors passed the Cavaliers in the standings and they had similar stats seemed like the right call to me.

Barnes had a great first 3 quarters to his playoff career (was on track for a triple double), but unfortunately got hurt and may well not return until game 5 or 6... and the Raps may already be out in 4 by then.

This is how I feel about all the defenders and shooters just falling any time they’re near each other in general. The one earlier today where Embiid went up for a layup with nobody contesting it and then pulled his legs in and just crashed to the floor trying to get a phantom call…enough is enough man. It’s one thing when the little dudes pretend they got trucked but when it’s guys like Anthony Davis and Embiid doing it. The NBA has to figure out how to legislate this out of the game.

Shooters constantly diving to the ground. Defenders sliding under guys while they’re in the air to try to draw charges and then pulling players into them to make sure there’s contact. Enough is enough.

The backstory to this is yes our coach Nick Nurse does whine about calls a fair bit. Embiid went up to NN at the end of game 2 and told him to stop complaining.

In game 4. Embiid complained all game after flailing around like a fish. He then said after the game that he would not complain about the refs... and then immediately started complaining about the refs.

A hell of a player. But seeing a strong big flop and foul bait is not enjoyable basketball.
