Much to the crowd and the internet's amusement, Usher and Tee Morant were shown on the Grizzlies' "Look-Alike" cam during a timeout break.

Will be interesting to see if they grow from this and learn how to close out games in the coming years.

Teams are just as apt to regress as get over the hump .. THREE double digit 4th quarter leads blown in 6 games ? To me that’s not a “learn and improve” situation.. that’s a “get someone in here from another roster who can control a game” deal

I tend to think Minnesota doesn’t make the playoffs without Bev this year. Might not need him moving forward but I think they needed someone like that to kinda empower the rest of the team and give them confidence that they can hang with the big boys. Edwards will almost certainly be that guy moving forwards but I think Bev helped a lot this year.

Always enjoyed the rivalry with them - the Lakers always getting the best of them in the playoffs may have helped. But they usually played entertaining ball, had loud fans, great uniforms, and a quality franchise that usually put out good teams. They’re definitely missed.

Got them in NY when I was home for Christmas, and then when I went back to school in NC (where we’d recently moved) I took some pleasure in answering all of the kids “where’d you get those?!!” with a “in New York” response. Their baffled faces were always funny to see.

I think it's only a matter of when, and the next NBA contract is up in 2025. That would be my guess. The new Seattle Mayor wants to do all he can to facilitate the NBA's return.
