I've often through there must be a better way. have a 'penalty box' concept where a player has to sit for a minute for each foul or the fouled player gets the number of free throws based on the number of fouls the miscreant had.
If a guy fouls out it's guaranteed that at least one of the 5 fouls was questionable and another horrendous.

St. Peter’s is playing a skilled big today not the lumbering type from Purdue. NC looks loose and just playing. I thought Purdue looked tight from the opening top.

Oh I know the ratio is equal, and get it. Difference is many key college players play more of the game than nba players do. And add in the sporadic officiating.

NCAA had one year experiment on Big East before. They don't like it. And it cost many Big East many teams on post season since they were used to six fouls rule but got taken that away in post season.

I think he still needs to be able to consistently recruit. This year no doubt helps as does getting Wilcher.

It's not easy to run over Nova. Well coached, tough as nails and don't beat themselves.
That’s the way I feel. I hate 3 of these teams and dislike the other (Kansas).
It’s going to feel awful rooting my ass off for UNC next weekend. But I can’t stomach the thought of Coach K, a huge sore loser, going out with a National Championship in his final game. Not to mention the front-running Duke fans don’t deserve it.

The talking heads are going to hype up the Duke-UNC game as the game of the century. Unfortunately, no one besides those teams’ fans want to see that matchup. Hope the NY media continues to ignore college basketball and talk about the NFL and NBA like they usually do.
