Not sure. They prob have always done it and I haven’t noticed since I usually watch champ game.

After a little research it seems they have been doing this since 2018 except for one of the Covid years.

If UConn is ahead I will have about zero interest to keep watching the game.

If Purdue keeps it close or is ahead I will keep watching and really pull for them.

Otherwise I'll probably just watch baseball tonight. I was more interested in the women's Final 4 than the Men's this year. I didn't think I've ever say that.

I'm not sure if there will be that many that are conflicted here. Perhaps I am wrong.

As a group / organization the BIG might be hated, but I still think there is a a likeability / unlikeability factor for each individual school and Purdue seems to pass in that regard.

That's interesting because just off the top of my head, I feel like the NBA Finals, World Series, Stanley Cup playoff games, college football natty, etc. all end around 11-11:30 pm. The only one that ends a little earlier than that is the Super Bowl.

I agree that it may start late, but college basketball games are short compared to every other sport. I don't think CBB title games end later than most other major sports besides the Super Bowl.
