Strange for sure but I don't read much into it. As long as he's around for JB and Hop to close is all I care about.
Any idea on the timeframe of when Noel might make his decision?

Rak is going to be a true power 4 . . . and my gut still tells me that Noel's future is not going to be in Upstate NY.I think people are getting way too excited about how Rak's doing at the 5. His future is at the 4. Noel's future is at the 5.
Bees gave us 70% odds. Jake likes our chances. GTown and UK fans are in diss/blame mode. I feel good, but I feel you. Its not over til its over. The fact GTown made a suprise trip to see him before he meets with us makes me think were the clear leaders.Rak is going to be a true power 4 . . . and my gut still tells me that Noel's future is not going to be in Upstate NY.
This is going to be my go-to statement on the matter...
You mean to tell me that we're going to bring in the best shotblocking prospect in years, and rather than plop him in the middle of the zone, a place designed for excellence in shotblocking, we're going to put him on the wing? Really? REALLY?
I'll be surprise if a decision isn't made within the next few weeks.Any idea on the timeframe of when Noel might make his decision?
Hasn't Noel been saying for a while that he will decide in April?I'll be surprise if a decision isn't made within the next few weeks.
Funniest post from Hoya Talk is the guy who asks the OP to have his source talk to Yahoo Sports what a bunch of losers.

Can I make one request? Whether or not Nerlens selects Syracuse, if he DOESN'T, can we realize it's not a personal slight against any of us? Instead, it's a kid doing what he thinks is best for his future. Again, a kid. Let's try to avoid any vitriolic attacks on an 18 year old who decided he didn't want to come to Syracuse.
Again, IF he chooses to go elsewhere. Fingers crossed we won't have to even worry about this as a possibility.
I agree, everyone knows JT III pimps out his body for recruits...how do you think he got Otto Porter.Sorry that's only the case if he choose SU. In that case and that case alone its a kid doing what he thinks is best for his future. If he chooses UK or Georgetown clearly it will be the money showered on him, the affair between his mother and JTIII and all manner of other low down dirty trick we can conjure up.

it's called the Kentucky Two Step - it allows the player to maintain plausible deniability when the actual dollar figures are being discussed

So, we've heard rumors Noel doesn't have an interest in going to UK. What if Mom still thought it was a good idea and wanted to talk to Calimari? Nerlens says "OK Mom, but I'm going to Florida so I don't have to listen to someone I'm not interested in playing for."
Just read that thread on hoyatalk. What a bunch of BS. They make it sound like we just came out of the woodwork in recruiting NN. They don't know how many times he has even been here. They also act like this Randolph guy is some big SU booster. Never heard of him, so he's not. And since when aren't kids suppose to look at HS coaches for advice/help? Everyone cries about the AAU influences and say kids should listen to their parents and coaches and now NN does and they are up in arms because the guy is a big SU fan? Most every HS coach has a favorite team. Doesn't mean they are a booster donating 1000's to the school. What tools.
