Well, I suppose this is an added component of certainty in what has shaped up to be a season of uncertainty of epic proportions. Solid choice by JB but it definitely hasn't broadened the recruiting universe of the Cuse.

By hiring a solid, experienced, very well regarded assistant coach as third man on the bench? Griffin is a solid recruiter, has been successful at every stop, will bring a different perspective and hit the ground running with his knowledge of the program. Once Red was promoted this became a no Brainer .Welcome home, A.G.

Autry and Griffin are tight.

Dayton assistant Allen Griffin shares friendship with Syracuse basketball's Adrian Autry

This gives Syracuse two assistants with strong ties to NYC. Autry is from Harlem and went to Tolentine in The Bronx. Griffin is from Brooklyn and went to Robeson in that borough.

Anyway, congrats to Coach Griff. Great guy. Welcome back home...
