There is a wide open land grab for second tier football schools and with the playoffs expanding to 12 teams, it becomes even more of a premium land grab.

There is no reason we can't have the best NIL infrastructure (not saying the most money), the best college athlete NIL agents and programs and the best "we get you into the NFL at your second school" pitch within this tier or near the top.

We can be that team.

We aren't the team that will be 10+ wins every year. Just not happening til a T Boone Pickens comes along.

But we can be the constant 7-9 win team that may get frisky with the expanded playoffs.

Yes he's from Missourri. Missouri City, TX which is Houston area. Thinking it could be difficult as Ole Miss is quite a bit closer to home than Syracuse. But if he loved Rocky it could work as he has to know he excelled in his defense.

My understanding is that staff hiring is, and always has been, pretty much entirely on Dino. Of course, JW signs off and sets the salary, but Dino is the guy responsible for identifying and recruiting the staff to SU.
