Well one things for sure - all signs point to us sticking with the 3-3-5. I’m excited about that. AND that we have some great new players to plug into it.

And she really want comment on it without sourcing it herself. Therefore, all she can do is retweet what Adam has reported. She’s busy today trying to get somebody to go on the record and confirms. Which is going to be very hard with her local sources.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but last go around, I think we were rumored to be hiring or considering Rocky Long and it turned out we were just consulting with him.

If true, the plan sounds somewhat familiar. With Beck coming in with Anae, Becks transition to OC keeps the continuity with the Offense.

Even with 1-2 years with Rocky as DC, Swag is groomed under the best. When he steps away, Swag takes over the reins as an even better DC.

Maybe DB wants to give that opportunity to Swag to help him and the defense really solidify the 3-3-5. You may not even need to put Rocky on the actual “coaching staff” and make him a “special assistant to the head coach.” Ruffin McNeil long time college and NFL coach is on the staff at NC State as special assistant to Dave Doeren In a similar capacity.
