I don't want him sitting behind Dart who is sitting behind Wilson. That HC of theirs thinks he has another Josh Allen to develop. No way McCord gets an honest shot there now. I'd still like to see him go to Pittsburgh. Though I still stand by my prediction of the Jets in the second round.Maybe the gmen still grab Kyle later. They are stupid drafters so anything can happen
Right there with ya. As a giants fan I wanted them to take McCord bad. Hopefully Dart is good, but I felt like McCord is slept in.As a Giants fan I have mixed emotions. On the plus side, the Giants did NOT take Sanders. Even if he is as good as Daddy Sanders presents, he is likely to be a poor choice for the Giants' clubhouse and for the NYC media. On the minus side, the Giants will probably live to regret passing on McCord.

You're correct. The point I made was that Sanders was not the pick, the more important issue. And yes, I would prefer McCord because I prefer him. Dart may be a running QB but I really don't want my QB running a lot, NFL defenses hit hardest of all. Just my take.Because NFL teams rarely take risks early. Dart graded out 30+ points higher that McCord. Daboll and Schoen are drafting for their lives. No way they are going to take McCord in the 1st round.
Does it make me a bad person to be feeling a bit of schadenfreude regarding Sanders' fall from the first round?Sanders posts about the draft are one reason I would have shied away from him as a GM. One thing being upset because you were falsely hyped up but there’s a sense of entitlement and fall back on daddy, in his posts.
Curious what that algorithm "measures" and how successful it is.Because NFL teams rarely take risks early. Dart graded out 30+ points higher that McCord. Daboll and Schoen are drafting for their lives. No way they are going to take McCord in the 1st round.
I know the Steelers and a few others like Jalen Milroe a lot. Also Tyler shough from Louisville.is the general concensus that Sanders and McCord are next QB's taken?

Saints were rumored to be interested in Dart and may have traded up to get him.The Giants are doomed. Don't see Dart as an NFL starter. But even if you like him, why trade up to get him? Who was going to grab him at 25-33?
Hot Mom vs. Divisive Dad, it's a no-brainer.You're correct. The point I made was that Sanders was not the pick, the more important issue.
1) it has been done many time beforeNo way they’re drafting McCord after already drafting dart
HUSH! Don't give the Giants management any ideas!1) it has been done many time before
2) the giants may hedge
3) the giants are awful in the draft
I saw a few articles about how upset Sanders is with the Steelers, then I remembered Meeks asking McCord if he thought his game was like Big Ben's during that Orange Round Table. McCord quickly shook it off. I don't think McCord's game is like Ben's (BR ran a lot and was clobbered a lot. He was accurate, but his value was in durability). That said, it got me wondering if they know something or have some inside hints.Kyle to the Steelers in Round 3
I know that Kiffin is some sort of offensive genius, but I can't recall a QB in his system that excelled at the next level. Not USC, not Bama, not Tennessee, not USC again, and not Ole Miss. Am I overlooking someone?Curious what that algorithm "measures" and how successful it is.
The only other "name" QB I could find was Matt Barkley. Good observation. Not a QB whisperer by any stretchI know that Kiffin is some sort of offensive genius, but I can't recall a QB in his system that excelled at the next level. Yes, I am replying to my own post. Little know fact - Game of Thrones author is a NJ native and named the main Giant in the books Wun wun. He was named for Phil Simms, who was #11 or "one one".I was totally floored when they picked Carter and the College Gameday crew said that nobody on the Giants wears #11 so maybe he can keep the vaunted State Penn number. Nobody wears it because they hung it in the rafters for Phil Simms. BTW, I guess I’m new to the #11 significance but when the first example you come up with is Lavar Arrington, aren’t you trying too hard to make something from nothing?
