NFL Thread - 2018

Miami played well in the first half but the Patriots adjusted. The problem was Brady hurt his ankle on a TD pass in the 2nd quarter and played thru it just like tannehill. Their was only 1 Dolphins player who had more than 1 reception on Sunday it was Kenny Stills.
The Vikings curb stomping the Dolphins is my pick of the week. As all 3 teams that have beaten New England lost the following week.
Not the phish! Not this time!

Surprised alsacs didn’t pick up on the iggs getting calls against them.

Clearly, it’s because of John Mara.

He must’ve spent 2 weeks screaming at Goodell to right the wrong that happened when the refs didn’t call the blatant PI against OBJ which would’ve given the Giants 1st and Goal at the 1 instead of having to kick a FG and give the iggs the chance to win.
Try being relevant for more than 1 week in the NFL season before you start this chit.
Mara is a POS. Plain and simple. The Josh Brown episode confirmed it.

No doubt an important missed call. Of course your HC forgot about Barkley for about two hours. That didn't help the cause either.

Thanks, Kaiser.

You should tell Kaiser that the Cowboys have a better chance of winning a playoff game than the NYG have of making the playoffs. That analogy will make it easier for him to understand what his Gmen are up against. ;)

Take solace Kaiser et al...

Your playoff odds are infinitely better than Carson Wentz participting in a playoff game.

Better Iggs QB to never win a SB - McNabb or Wentz?

If it weren't for Wentz the Iggs wouldn't have even sniffed a SB appearance last year.

Somehow very appropriate that we're handing out participation trophies for participating in playoff games.

Yup. More SB wins than any other division to show for it.

And thanks to the Iggs finally popping their cherry last year...

I believe it's the only division where all 4 teams have won a SB.

Only 1 division has had all 4 teams in the SB since realignment.
NFC South.

No division has more than 2 teams who have won SBs.

NFC West has gotten to the game 5 times with 3 teams but is abysmal 1-4 in the SB.
AFC East is carried by NE.
AFC South has been garbage outside of Peyton Manning.
NFC North has been garbage outside of GB and Urlacher’s one year.

Leave it to a Pats fan to pick 2002 realignment as a line of demarcation.

Since 2002, do you know how many years an AFC East team not named NE has won 10 or more games?

Six. Jets won 10 or more 4 times, Dolphins - 2, Bills - 0.

The AFC East has enabled NE's dynasty by virtue of granting them 5-6 auto wins since 2002.

And the rest of the NFL hates them for it.
