Like the shots of Dungey on the Cleveland sideline as they’re skewering Mayfield for not throwing OBJ the ball on 4th down.

Tyreek hill passed Damien Williams, one of the faster guys in the league, like he was standing still on his 91 yard TD run. Guys a freak.

Can't believe that I'm defending OBJ, but he was open on that 4th down play.

1 TD all year? Bet he misses Eli.

Pretty sure that Mayfield hasn't thrown for more than 1 TD in any game this season - that's pathetic, on an offense with OBJ, Chubb and Landry (who I personally think is a JAG...)

Don’t want to burst your bubble but PFF has Mayfield playing the same as last year and outside of today OBJ hasn’t been good.

Are you the guy who constantly defends Mayfield?

What I posted is fact - Mayfield has not thrown for more than 1 TD pass in any game this year. On an offense which has added skill players from last season, that's not good, no matter how one wants to slice it. His 1:2 TD to INT ratio is terrible as well.

You seem determined to die on that Baker Mayfield hill. ;)

Because in this case I’m right. The coaching sucks. People hate him because the way he deals with the media so they overblow every single mistake.

Well PFF disagrees with you and I do too. He will be the best QB out of the last 2 classes still IMO.

Factually, what did I say that was untrue?

Honestly, were you a fan of Mayfield's in college, or are you a Browns fan?

No. I am a Saints fan. And I want to see him do well just to piss off his haters like Colin Cowherd.

All I will say is he has played better according to the stats according to PFF. If you disagree that’s fine, but he hasn’t played as bad as people think. They need a new coach for sure.

what is his PFF ranking so far this season?

Football is a team game and the OL, skill players and coaches can all have impact on a QBs effectiveness. That said, the one stat that matters most is the win column and he just hasn't done enough to make a difference in that area. He's not a bum but he's not playing like a #1 draft pick. That seems undeniable to me. I'm not a Baker hater btw.

I don't subscribe to PFF, but the snippet of that article that I could read w/o subscription said "The Browns rank third-to-last in EPA per dropback this year, with Mayfield’s struggles driving their 2-5 record".

Does PFF provide a numerical rating (similar to QBR)? I'd be curious to see what it is for this season to date.

Im reading that Miami played the “Ghostbusters” theme at the stadium after that pick? That’s great stuff, if true.

Not really appropriate since in this setting the Dolphins Defense in fact represents the ghosts and the ghost busters neutralize ghosts ..which isn’t what you want if you’re Miami

He had a pretty good year last year. I’d say overall teams are not patient enough with QB’s. There’s been a lot of mediocre guys who get the benefit of doubt compared to other guys though.

If the Colts had an average FG kicker they'd be 7-1.

It really is unbelievable how they are allowing emotion to overrule reason in a sport that is generally averse to allowing for such luxuries

No they grade players on each play and it is not stat dependent.
