I don't agree with that at all. 2 out of 3 years he's been very good. There's this myth that people think he's limited when he is really not. I've watched Cleveland a bunch as I have adopted Cleveland as my AFC team this year and watched a lot of their games.
He threw for under 205 yards in 9 of the 19 games he played this season. I imagine that none of the other Tier 1 or 2 guys even did that in 5 games let alone nearly half of them.

And all of those games besides one were the first 10 weeks of the season.

Baker is good. I wouldn't put him above Lamar personally, so if Lamar is considered Tier 3, I guess I'd have to say that's where Baker is too. At any rate, Baker is definitely in that consideration.

There's going to be a lot of movement at the QB position this offseason. Teams that have an unsettled QB position (not gonna bother mentioning Jacksonville since they're obviously getting Lawrence):
  • Denver
  • New England
  • Washington
  • Indy
  • Pittsburgh
  • Chicago
  • New Orleans
And teams that possibly are unsettled:
  • Houston
  • Carolina
  • NY Giants
  • NY Jets
  • Philly
  • Miami
  • Atlanta
  • Detroit
  • San Fran
  • LA Rams
Literally over half the league could be trying to make moves at QB this offseason.

Personally I am rooting for Dak to leave Dallas. They don't deserve him.

Yeah I didn't bother mentioning them in my list because I just can't wrap my brain around the idea they might actually let him go but we'll see. If he somehow gets out of Dallas I think he's easily the top option for Indy, who has more than enough cap space to give him the contract he deserves.

I was a Baker doubter, and frankly was rooting against him but he won me over this year. He’s a good QB.

Likewise. Between his play on the field and those Progressive commercials, I don't hate the guy anymore.

Stafford is a career 282td/144int passer. That is very good. Not his fault the organization has been bottom tier overall historically. Team was a mess this year.

I see Stafford as a poor man’s Phil Rivers.
He has a good arm but he make a lot of dumb decisions and have good numbers but a lot of bad team success seasons.

If you put Stafford on NE this year I think they are close to a playoff team because the coach and defense will protect him but he wouldn’t win anything in the playoffs.

Eagles job down to Duce Staley or Josh McDaniels.

I want McDaniels gone but I would give it to Staley.

Possible but completely unpredictable. They've interviewed up to 15 candidates already with more to come.

So according to Brees wife he played most of not the entire year with a torn rotator cuff as well as the rib injury. That would explain the extreme drop in arm strength this season.

Dark horse could be Nick Sirianni, the Colts OC. Reich loves him. Has a young coach Andy Reid vibe about him not in stature but young coach on the rise.

That’s a tough injury to come back from at his age. Might be time

Bills fans hate Mayfield? That’s news to me.

I don't hate the guy, but I do think he's overrated. I want to see guys like he and Tannehill win games with their arms - when their offense's run game is shut down. We saw what happened last week with Tannehill.

I read tweets saying that Mayfield played well last week against KC. His stats were quite pedestrian. Sure, he had a couple of nice throws, and a couple of drops, but I think that you could say that about most NFL QBs in most games.

Based on the cap and the shocking lack of talent outside of WR the Cowboys would be better served to let him go. He has earned whatever his number ends up being and to pay him that much with the entire defense being in shambles along with the OL needing an overhaul might simply be too much.

That said I do expect Jerrah to pay him. If he overpaid for Zeke who is a weirdo and frankly on the downside of his talent .. he will pay for Dak who is a total stand up guy and still getting better.

If Houston doesn’t hire a minority HC. Then the NFL really needs to do more to incentivize it.

Give the comp picks to the teams that hire minority coaches the following year’s draft.

It’s ridiculous these guys getting chances.
