If the Patriots sign him they aren’t tanking.
If they pass then they aren’t trying to win.
If dalton goes there, Pats will win the A-East

I don't think red Romo is that good. The Patriots aren't winning the AFC East next year unless Buffalo and Miami collapse.
I am praying Doug Marrone signs him because he wants to save his job and not let the Jags bottom out.

I'd guess Jags before Pats for Dalton. Jay Gruden is in Jacksonville now.

As a Bengal fan I don't think Dalton is that kind of player. He was always more of a game manager, but the last few years he has just been bad. If NE plans to run it 60% of the time he may be okay.

A veteran game manager is all the patsies need. It’s what brady has been for last 7 years.

It's disappointing the Eli and Brady cheap shots will end now.
Eli is retired and irrelevant. Brady is now in Tampa and won't get the shots from you now.

Brady's last 7 years include 1 regular season MVP, 2 first team all pro seasons, 3 second team all pro seasons, 2 Super Bowl MVPs.

Brady is the only non-specialist player to make the all-decade team in two decades 2000s and 2010s.

Unlike the Philly guy I like you and appreciate your humor. It's well done and always fun.

Miami isn't even close to being in that conversation. They have Fitz who will be 38 and Tua as a rookie coming in off a major injury. Have 1 above average skill player and 1 decent OL that isn't a rookie. They are 2 years away from mattering, 1 if everything goes perfect.

Miami is going to be a playoff contender.
They spent a lot in FA to build up the roster.
If the QB play is just decent they will be a lot better.

NFL is going to schedule games on Saturday if the college football season is postponed or cancelled.

Dalton is just as good as Eli Manning in his prime.

How many playoff games has Dalton played in vs playoff games won?

lets not be absurd. Dalton’s a consistently average QB for rebuilding franchises. Would be good for Jax

Name me the above average NFL starters on their roster. Howard and Jones at CB, Parker at WR and Gesicki at TE probably. Van Noy if they use him properly but NE castoffs are generally terrible elsewhere. Teams don't go from the gutter to contending via Free Agency in the NFL.

Can everybody slow down please. September and Football kickoff is 4 months away.

We agree!

Godchaux and Wilkins form a very solid DL core. I dont disagree about Van Noy. I think our OSU pair at LB McMillan and Baker could develop into an above average duo but thats to be seen

Preston Williams is an above average receiver. Thought he was similar to Metcalf but only played 8 games due to injury.

Dolphins are a year away but I won’t be surprised at all if they contend for the playoffs. The AFC East is weak this year and homefield advantages wont be the same.

Their RBs are solid
Jordan Howard and Matt Brieda.

TE is solid
Mike Gesicki

Starting WRs are solid
Devonta Parker and Albert Wilson

Starting OL is solid.
Austin Jackson-Ereck Flowers-Ted Karras-Jesse Davis-Robert Hunt

QB- is a question mark
Ryan Fitzpatrick-Tua

Defense

DL- very solid
Shaq Lawson-Christian Wilkins- Godchaux-Manny Ogbah

LBs solid
Van Noy-McMillan-Biegel

CBs top 5 in league
Jones-Howard

Ss one solid one bad
McCain-Rowe

Miami's roster is better than you think.

They have more than you think. The players they kept from last year bought into Flores program. They added depth and talent in the draft. It boils down to QB play for them.

Even saying that they are solid on either side of the line of scrimmage is ridiculous. There isn't 1 high level player on either line. Maybe Hunt/Jackson/Wilkins get there but it sure as hell isn't happening in year 1. If the Dolphins are solid then the Detroit Lions are Super Bowl contenders. Infinitely better at QB. Better at RB, WR, OL, probably same at TE. Similar at DL, LB, worse at CB, similar at SS.

Why can't Detroit make the playoffs next year? It's year 3 of Patricia. They better win 8-9 games or he is getting fired.

They only had their QB 8 games last year. They went 0-8 without Stafford. If you tell me the Lions make the playoffs next year I wouldn't be shocked one iota.
They were good early in the season last year. They fell apart without Stafford and that MNF screwjob they got in Lambeau last year.

Should probably put your life savings on the Dolphins if you think they are good because Vegas is wayyyyy closer to my thoughts with +/- of 6 wins. How many games are they going to realistically be favored in, maybe the Jets and Bengals at home. On the road they are coin flips against the Jets, Broncos, Cardinals and probably favored over Jax. They'd have to win every one of those games just to get to 6. Probably lose 1 or 2 of them and win 1 or 2 where they're a dog and still end up back at 6 wins.

I seem to be living rent free inside your head. Stay classy!

Miami is +700 to win the AFC East.
That is perfectly reasonable to think it could happen. That isn't a real long shot.

It's not like I am picking Washington to win the NFC East.
Also New England right now is still the betting favorite to win the AFC East.

Agreed. We're re-opening shopping malls this weekend but we can't play football 4 months from now?

Whole lot of $$$ involved here - college and pro. Come September they'll both be playing football - how many people will be in the stands I don't know. But the games will be televised at a minimum absent some huge return of the virus in the fall.

In your predictions u had Minnesota as the #1 seed (that's cray-cray imo) and u had GB as a wildcard. Now you're saying Detroit is a potential playoff contender. You think pretty highly of the NFC North.

Flores is looking leaps and bounds more promising than Patricia. Its only been 1 year but I like what he’s doing and the team believes in it.

If Tua is a safe play midseason I wouldn’t be surprised if Miami has two 1,000 yard receivers between Williams and Parker. All lot of speed and size on the outside, maybe Tua won’t miss his stud wideouts at Bama much if at all.
