Real nice story about lynch, what a quality kid. The type of player we need to be successful.

But it really makes me upset that the defensivecoaches put him in a position to fail with that ridiculous gameplan down in Atlanta in front of all his family and friends from snellville. This one is tough to let go on many levels, I hope the players and coaches can do it better than I am.

For instance, how will that sh&tstorm resonate with kids from ga. We are trying to recruit? And how embarrassing was it For our lynch and our other current players from Georgia, who are told they will play in front of their friends and family in the acc ? Well, our staff went down there and completely embarrassed themselves and the players from Georgia.

And we might want to keep the "northern football" rhetoric in the closet, because we are recruiting from the south and midwest Florida, ga, tenn, mi, Ill.

Sorry for the rant, but had to get it out - now lets take care of biz in the dome Saturday!,,

Im still waiting for the first example of where the game plan vs GT was wrong and it wasn't an execution thing. i dont care 3-4 vs 4-3 they guy who has the pitch and the QB still has to play the play correctly.. you see play after play with 2-3 guys going to the wrong spot.

It was a great story from Cohen. We have to remember that coaches coach and players play. Blame can be placed on everyone.

I agree 100%. The players were absolutely terrible in that game, the effort was atrocious, look at the last two td's if you want to see a team that quit

Obviously the D played poorly. But I don't really get why people think college players can just jump into a new defense with one week prep and know where they are supposed to be? I mean, I personally think some of the defensive gameplanning is overrated, see blocker, beat blocker, find ball, tackle guy with ball. But how many times do you see that this player isn't playing because he can't learn the D. So obviously the coaches give these kids a lot to think about out there. But for this week, let's think differently and change up our front 7.

I think it was a plan that was setup for failure. And it failed. Maybe that's why the players gave up on it so easily. Doesn't excuse them, but doesn't excuse the coaches either.

Early on we looked like a bunch of players who were thinking and reacting instead of attacking. I know I wasn't the only one who saw it that way.
