Was just a joke. I play video games, have a degree in micro- computer applications and the HS I teach at has esports. Or had, very small school and it’s lost its traction the last few years for a variety of reasons.

And I love this generation that likes watching other people play video games. My daughter likes watching me play and I don’t have to give her the controller very often.

Video games have always been a big part of my life and even got competive with some (did fairly welll for a time). Just ruffles the old feathers when others talk like it's just some "nerd" thing that isn't much of anything.

thats the part i dont get, the hc announcement. is that the red let go...seems late. or the new hc? if its new hc, its not someone in the ncaas. cant formally do anything.

There is no reason why the announcement shouldn't be the morning after the ACCT ouster. Just a couple line release like all these other schools have already done.

I think it could happen quickly after we get ousted from the ACCT -- so it could be as early as Wednesday or Thursday. I also wonder if they'll let Red "resign," to go out on his own terms / save a bit of face.

Norlander reported that we’d have a new AD by 3/10. So as Bees said, announcement should be tomorrow or Tuesday.

The head coach can’t be the following Monday or Tuesday because Schertz and Hodgson will still be playing tourney games the week of March 16. I’d expect the new head coach is announced the week of March 23, unless their teams are still rolling. But I’m assuming we’ll all know who it is before then.
