He isn’t going to resign. He would be leaving money in the table. He needs To be fired to get the rest of his contract that is owed.By not being officially fired.
I get it -- small consolation -- but it allows him to step away in lieu of being terminated.
Yeah. He’ll get fired but SU won’t say it specifically (which is the right move. No one calls him a bad guy and he’s obviously a program legend). He isn’t going to resign. He would be leaving money in the table. He needs To be fired to get the rest of his contract that is owed.
You don’t quit. Not in athletics.I think it could happen quickly after we get ousted from the ACCT -- so it could be as early as Wednesday or Thursday. I also wonder if they'll let Red "resign," to go out on his own terms / save a bit of face.
I’ll take the way over on 1%, especially given the number of people who took yesterday’s Lyke story at face value.Yeah. He’ll get fired but SU won’t say it specifically (which is the right move. No one calls him a bad guy and he’s obviously a program legend).
It’ll be some vague statement like the program announces a mutual parting of ways.
99% of people will get what it means and then there will be 1% of village idiots that still think Dino wasn’t fired and resigned on his own.
I think that reassigned to a different position in the athletic department is the likely outcome.I think it could happen quickly after we get ousted from the ACCT -- so it could be as early as Wednesday or Thursday. Highly unlikely for multiple reasons. Red's buy out likely has duty to mitigate and off sets provisions. He will be required to make reasonable efforts to obtain new employment or compensation as reasonably practical. Another reason, the AD can't afford to add new positions of this type.I think that reassigned to a different position in the athletic department is the likely outcome.
Assistant to JB?I think that reassigned to a different position in the athletic department is the likely outcome.
He’s just a contrarian that craves attention. I don’t even know if he knows what his general stance is anymore. He’s turning into the Trump version of sports, for SU at least. Because I say it, it must be true.
I want to go back to this. Can someone explain? Leadership like in the Athletic Department? Like no one has notified the bball program of a press conference for that
Is that what's being referenced?
the key is "no plans".I want to go back to this. Can someone explain? Leadership like in the Athletic Department? Like no one has notified the bball program of a press conference for that

It was a great moment for Adam’s ego, which is all he gives a rat’s ass aboutWhat a great moment, losing games with Tom Brady and Julian Edelman staring at their phones.
Not necessarily. So what does this mean? no AD this week?
I expect a lot of juicing this week
